Recorded in South Africa, England and Taiwan, Good Old Fashioned Life is the first release by reigndear to fully encompass the combined influence of all three members as well as the inclusion of a host of collaborators.
"I’ve been friends with them (Kent Dylan & Wesley Jay) since I was 14. I recorded them about a year and a half ago while visiting home in a tiny bedroom with a little microphone and a laptop. I came back to London and produced full songs with the recordings." - Johnny Atterbury on recording Reigndear in East London, South Africa
Including Wee Embers, the song that sparked interest from ECG's Tom Sarig, Good Old Fashioned Life is a album not to be missed.
"We got in touch with Mr. Sarig shortly after Johnny sent the tracks back to us, and just before we had had them mastered. we'd sent him Wee Embers hoping there might be a reply, there was, he liked it, later going as far as to say he loved it, we were really stoked about this and kept in touch, finally signing a basic artist contract with ECG and Sarig Songs. We are currently working on the final completion of this album collection and look forward to it's official release." - Kent Dylan on Reigndear's administration deal with Tom Sarig & The Esther Creative Group
Good Old Fashioned Life is an album with surprises around every corner, much like a surreal dream conveniently situated in the middle of a tranquil scene.

Reigndear have devised a “Full Transparency” concept for the 3 Disc release of Birth, Life & Death.
“It always astounds us that we have to wait until artists die before we are allowed to listen to the demos and early works, with the Good Old Fashioned project, we are hoping to release our records the way life intended, in order. We as a band felt that this project should be concieved, gestate and grow until its final maturity, we have been doing this silently, as life does, for sometime now and have decided to finally make this concept known.”
As time goes by Reigndear will be adding new tracks and eventually, mastered versions which will be available only for purchase, but hope that fans will collect the free and unmastered versions and enjoy the growth and final blooming, the way honeybees enjoy the coming of spring.
